Botox®/Dysport®/Xeomin® is used to reduce the appearance of facial lines. It works by relaxing the facial muscles for typically 3 to 4 months, but results vary per patient. In addition to treating wrinkles, these neuromodulators can be used to treat excessive sweating in certain individuals whose symptoms can not be controlled by topical medications as well as gummy smiles and jaw clenching (bruxism). What is the difference between Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin™?
Botox™, Dysport™, and Xeomin™ are similar products in that they are neuromodulators, but they are made by different companies. Botox® is made by Allergan, Dysport® is made by Galderma, and Xeomin® is made by Merz.
Are touch ups complimentary?
Touch ups are not complementary as it is impossible to predict with accuracy how many units each individual needs to achieve their desired results.
